My nephew recently built a 72 shortbed 4X4 pickup. He put a 327 engine in it with some 305 heads to raise compression. I do not know any details about the engine build other than that. He called me and said his radiator hose is swelling up the size of a softball. He claims he is not overheating. I am sure the 327 is a Gen 1 and the heads are probably a Gen 2. Is there any interference with this combo. Could some of the waterjacket ports not line up? Any suggestions would be appreciated. He is understandably down in the dumps.
