Pelle- I hadn’t seen any response to your request, so here’s my thoughts. Keep your existing heads, open them up to 2.19/1.88 valves if you haven’t already. Match them to the manifold and do some touch-up work in the bowls. I’d suggest using a hydraulic roller cam with about 230 degrees of duration at .050. This would give you a very powerful street car with manners enough that it could be driven anywhere. I would expect torque numbers to be about 500 and honest HP at about 375-400. What else do I have to do? If I have to change the heads, what casting would you choose? In the end I’d like to get an engine in the 400-450 bhp range! Is that possible? Due to a tight budget right now I have to try to keep as much as possible of the engine! I’m about to replace the lifters due to a faulty lifter so I thought I’d do a little budget “tune up” at the same time. Best regards Pelle No virus found in this incoming message.
