Agreed. When bolting a 350 GMPP crate motor in my '65 SS the original cast manifolds were the easiest thing to use, particularly for mounting the original alternator and A/C compressor. When I was 21 years old and wanted the fastest car in my neighborhood, headers would be mandatory, but since I was 21 in 1965 it is less important now.

I use what Gm provided. No problems after 40 years. Yeah, get headers and headaches. I have to laugh as I go out crusing every nite, while some post problems on this site. Am I missing somtthing? gm66
