I deal with manufacturers every day of all different types of products from power tools to lights to high tension power towers, ect. I know it is difficult these days but I try not to buy products made in China especially if you are buying something that could be life threatening, DO NOT BUY IT FROM CHINA. Every customer I walk into I hear all the different problems they have had with Chinese imported goods. First time bought great product, then each order after that it declines in quality as they increase their profit in many ways including removal or substitution of materials that were in your original order with something less expensive to them and very possibly creating a week or inferior product.

On other internet forums, I have heard many folks caution about the imported lifts, particularly the ones from China. They are cheaper, but are made with inferior materials, welds, etc. Do a search here and you'll find loads of information: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/ -Matt At 04:43 PM 11/14/2007, Jim H. If so that will be fine cause I will modify the trip bar on top so that it's a few inches below the trusses. This way I can be sure I won't damage the ceiling. This will be temporary anyway because where I'll be moving is family land and I can build whatever size garage I want at that time and right now I'm leaning toward a 40x80 with 14ft tall ceilings..but that's a couple of years away right now. I agree that their lifts look good and are well priced I think. The problem is they have too many choices. Are you near one of their showrooms? Or just going to have it shipped? Anyways, i'm looking to buy a 2 post asymetrical lift for my garage and i'm leaning heavily towards this one. Anyone got any opinions or dealing with this company. Their stuff looks to be well built. http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Master-Series-XL-9-p/tp-xl-9oh.htm Thanks, Kyle Eddie Bumgarner 66ss conv. Be a better sports nut!
