Need some help................ I?have an oil leak?from the oil pan on my 454 '70SS.? Appears to be coming from the?triangular pad on the oil pan (passenger side) that houses the dip stick.? Looks as if the previous owner applied some sealant to this pad.
Question - how should this pad attached to the oil pan?? Is it to be welded???? Or what? If it requires sealant what type should be used? Thanks, Jerry Wells
