Firstly; My apologies to all for hi-jacking the thread. I tried to illustrate the complexities of the available options. The options are so many that you could order a Malibu with your options and have a car that is absolutely unique.
Secondly to Josh's question, It has the fibreglass dash and to remove the instruments, the whole dash is removed. Fairly simple bolt off/on. Yes it has the RHD conversion. It is on the website http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/39452 My only problem is to find the right Wheel Covers locally as the cost of the covers plus the freight cost plus the import tax makes it impossible for me to import them. The Cost is about Rand 6400 = $800 which is more than double what I paid for for the mag wheels now on and equal to a month's salary!. So if anyone can come up with a solution, it would be appreciated. I am busy with a 65 Malibu that was CKD'd to GM South Africa from Canada 1965 and has many unique features! 1.. Fibreglass dash 2.. No removable Instrument cluster 3.. Flat face plate 4.. Power Windows 5.. No Heater 6.. No power steering 7.. No nothing 8.. Absolute basic! 9.. Lost of options to fit! 10.. Chevrolet did not retain any statistical records on option combinations. It is impossible to know with certainty the exact production number in situations of multi-option combinations. However, Chevrolet did report individual regular production option items and the series/model it could be ordered on.
