Did you change the frame mounts? Or did you move them back? Which engine mounts are you using? Try using 66 BB frame mounts and poly engine mounts.

The new engine has a Moroso pan #20412. The Jegs catalog says it fits Big Block Chevy engines (except Gen V and Gen VI) in most chassis except 1962-67 Chevy II, V8 Vega/Monza, and 1955-57 Chevy. The front engine mount is more than a 1" back from the stock location, and the pan is against the rear of the cross member. When I switched from SB to BB I do not recall changing the front mounts, but I may be wrong. Is there another engine mount available. Has anyone run across this problem? Larry Williams
