I meant to say LTX MS.

Rick,

I just turned over 111,ooo miles on a set of Michelin MTX MS on my '04
Colorado. When I first put then on, it felt like I was driving a new, different
truck. Very quiet and I felt like I was floating on air; good in the snow as
well. Still have another 5k left before changing for a new set. Tread life was
a bonus for me. Nothing, IMO, is equal to a Michelin tire. With that being
said, the Long Trails have a decent rep as far as I know, but will give you
half the tread life. At about 2/3rds the price, probably not a bad trade off.
And, btw, thay are made by the same company.

I'm looking to replace the tires on my wifes Highlander.   Currently
225/65/17.      Asking the list for a tire recommendatin  that handles well and
is quiet.  Treadlife is a secondary consideration.     Was considering Michelin
Latitude Tour, until I found out that its made in China.   Discount Tire
recommended BF Goodrich Long Trail TA Tour - he said they are "equivalent" to
the Michelin.

Anyone familiar with Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tire?
