Hi,
branches are for development, they meant to be deleted, after specific
feature (or collection of them) merged into master. Tags are snapshots of
specific state (i.e. release). You can find all releases with relevant tags
here
https://github.com/ChicagoBoss/ChicagoBoss/releases
btw, we had release for 0.8.8 too.
if you want to use tags as dependency in rebar.config, correct line will be
{boss, ".*", {git,
"git://github.com/ChicagoBoss/ChicagoBoss.git", "v0.8.9"}},
