Strictly speaking, public domain is the concept of copyright no longer
applying, not a license. There are a bunch of licenses that essentially
capture the spirit of waiving copyright to the fullest extent possible:

- CC0 (recommended by the GNU people)
- Beerware, WTFPL, Unlicense (these do not seem serious, but are in use)
