Hi all, Just a heads up for any other hackers reading along. Felix has pushed these changes and some others he made to the "process-object" branch. I've made some further improvements and bugfixes. I've now figured out all the issues with the scsh-process egg and there's now a 1.7.0 version of the egg that works with the new branch. These changes allowed me to simplify the code in the egg quite a bit, there's a lot less support code for the nuts and bolts of the process bookkeeping. The only extra bookkeeping needed is to allow process-wait to be used in a way that it only blocks the current thread and not the entire process. Felix would like to check a few other eggs with this branch before merging it, but in principle it's ready, so anyone who would like to experiment with it, feel free! Cheers, Peter
