I just rebuilt the current Darcs head on Cygwin using CMake, and
saw no problems.  I blew away all existing eggs and reinstalled
srfi-29, numbers, and opengl without a problem.

What is your installation pathname, and what Chicken did you use to compile it?  Maybe I used "bad chicken."
