Hi,
Is it done on purpose that although 'chicken.info' is generated
during the CHICKEN building process and its '$(SHAREDIR)/info/dir'
entry is updated properly, 'chicken.info' stays only in the working
directory?
Because
install-info --infodir=/usr/local/share/info chicken.info
updates only the 'info/dir' entry for 'chicken.info', it doesn't copy
'chicken.info' itself.
