Thanks to Alaric and Mario, we have a mirror site for SVN access now: http://chicken.kitten-technologies.co.uk/ The repository is updated hourly and allows read-only access, in case there are problems with galinha (or it's connection to the 'net). The "chicken-install" program has been extended to try several download locations, and has been preconfigured to take the new mirror site into account (trunk).
