Please note that SWIG is no longer officially supported. In CHICKEN 5, all support will be dropped. 4.x still contains the SWIG support code but it hasn't been tested in a long time, and the upstream SWIG documentation appears severely bitrotted as well (it still talks about CHICKEN 2.x!)
