puppy being thrown from the car..."
I couldn't believe my ears. I was outraged and speechless. As
someone who works in the rescue community and someone who owns
animals, it made me very angry to have a news anchor on a major
network SAY those words, which were apparently made spontaneously. I
am afraid that I am no longer able to support GMA and that makes me
very sad. But, Robin should be taken to task for saying something so
outrageous and thoughtless.
It is that attitude that contributes to the needless suffering of
millions of domestic animals in this country. If we do not take the
abuse of animals seriously and treat it like the serious crime it is,
then how will we ever work toward being at
peace with our fellow man?
