Hi Marsha,
I liked the little cream one too but her breeder is the one that didn't
have pedigrees on any of her dogs and when I asked her for a photo of the
puppy's parents she only sent me a photo of the father.

Marsha,
Do you like her as well at the first girl?

I don't see a problem with her hind quarters.
Looks as if she is attempting to sit down and the person is holding her
tail up to prevent her from sitting. At close to 2 lbs at 13 weeks,
you are looking at under 4 lbs full grown according to the chart. Yes,
I do breed, but do not have any at the time. I am a small breeder, only
one litter per breeding pair a year and only 2 breeding pairs, so only
a total of two litters a year. I breed AKC short hairs and CKC long hairs.

Oh, I will go with the one I like the best but it's nice to have
some other opinions from you guys. I've attached two photos of the other
little girl. Her breeder calls her "Sabrina", she's AKC registered, she's
13 weeks old and is 1 lb. 14 ozs. I think she's really a nice looking girl
too but I'm wondering about her hindquarters and her tail set or do you
think it's the way she's holding herself?
Let me know what you think.
I'm going to go look at your kids now. Do you breed your Chi's?

Can't never tell what those ears
are gonna do, but it has been my experience that the ears usually stop
growing before the head does. With the pups that I have seen with the huge
ears so young, they usually still have big ears as adults, but not as pronounced
as they were (but still bigger than most). However, it takes some chis
up to a year before their ears even stand up permanatly, so it is hard
to say. My best quess would be if the ears are huge as a pup, they
will still be pretty big as an adult. Sure, I would love to see pics of
the other pups you are considering. In the end however, your best bet is
to go with the one that YOU like best...regardless of what anyone else
thinks. Some of my chis are on dogster, but my scanner tore up and I haven't
been able to get a decent one of a few of them to put on. You can go to
www.dogster.com/?111375
to find the first one and follow the links for his family to see a few
of the others. Right now I have 5 chis. Pepper, Honey, Ginger, Dina and
Taz. Dina and Taz are not yet on dogster. Also, there is a link for a "Sturgis"
under "pup pals". Sturgis is the son of Honey and Ginger. He now lives
in NY.....long way from being the country pup he started out as in KY!

Glad you like her Marsha. And, you remembered that I liked BIG
EARS <LOL> Do you think that they will stay that big or will
she grow into them some?
There's also another little black and white girl that is available to
me by another breeder, would you like to see a couple of photos of her?
Hey, I'd love to see some photos of your Chi's.

Absolutely adorable. I don't think I have ever
seen one that is almost solid
bodied with a completely different colored solid head like that. So
cute.
And there are those big ears you like!!
