And for those who are determined to have the pup at Christmas, "under the
tree", what I usually recommend is that they not get the actual pup till
after Christmas, but have pictures, supplies, ect under the tree. This
allows the person to receive a gift of the pup at Christmas, but protects
the pups from the Christmas excitement. THEN, if they still insist on the up
at Christmas, I kindly tell them to find another breeder. My pups do NOT go
to a new home between December 10th and January 5th. Period.
