Actually thats not a bad idea, but what works much better
is to get the shots build the immune system and keep them
healthy with vitamins, my dog has been around countless other
animals and is now imune to most of the diseases from the kennel
and others, so she has a much better survival chance than
a sheltered dog with no ability to fight disease. Now the fact
she almost got pancaked in the street, im still working on that one,
cars are the biggest danger to our pets, so keep them in the yard or walk
them in a field!

Do you not take them to the local dog park?Another thing that I would miss, is meeting all the other Dog People, I have come to see that they are some of the best humans you will ever find.Pardon me, If I'm taking this out of context?I guess that's another blessing of having a chihuahua/mix or what some might label a mutt, (grin), it makes for a healthy little dog!
