Beth........ Are you sure you want someone at a Pet Smart to put your dog under...   and cutting the nail to the quick is very cruel and not necessary..... Take her to the Vet for the tooth and let him clip her nails properly while under... My nextdoor neighbor got a job at Pet Smart in Pompano Beach,  Clipped dog, cat and bird nails and had to come ask me how to do it...........    Please..........    Use your Vet. I don't think that's it though because he starts going wild as soon as he knows I'm going to try to put the drops in before I do it. He acted this way the first time I tried.
