I live in North Carolina. I have tried the local and regional shelters, Chihuahua Rescue, Craigslist, Petfinder, 1800Saveapet and everywhere else I could think of. I've even tried South Carolina, too.

Dont give up a chi hunt. It took quite a while, but my husband and I (who also couldnt afford the cost of a chi) found our baby Trinity in a rescue foster home. They charged a $50 adoption fee and it was the best $50 I have ever spent. We are always looking for another baby to love. We check out all the local and not-so-local shelters, craigslist.org, petfinder, etc. We know that when it is right, we will hook up with a furry one that needs us as much as we need him/her.

That's the cutest hug I've ever gotten. It brought tears to my eyes, though. Why? Because I want a little chihuahua so very much and can't afford one. Thanks for the hug, though.
