Marty, We have to take Allay to the Vet's and believe me, they can do it.  First off they know how to hold them, Second there are usually two or three of them around so that if more hands are needed to hold they are there... Third and if necessary they do have the means to restrain them if absolutely necessary.   It only takes a couple trips and they stop fighting it.   Allay now goes willingly to the tech and I also get her weighed every month when it's done.   5bucks......    and to me that's cheap.  (I use to have dogs that needed groomed so a pedicure is cheap) believe me, they will not break anything.
