Lynn Park Lynn, 7 weeks is very young to adopt a Chi puppy.   Take it to the vet immediately.  Dehydration is very serious, change in diet, water or maybe something it ate can trigger diareah, but what ever the cause it is serious.  A VET trip is absolutely necessary. Very young puppies do not digest food like a dog,  that is why the small ones need to be with their mothers longer.  They also are helped with 1/4 teaspoon of karo syrup per pint of water in all their drinking water.
