We are so pleased with him. The holding issue with Allay is less each
time their both held at the same time. He aparently has adopted us,
and comes scratching on our legs wanting up. He slept in bed with us
last night, Half the night with Daddy then they changed and he
finished the night with me. He is not yet getting under the covers and
if covered up works to get his head out. He's starting to learn to go
up the steps to get in bed. Got there all by himself this afternoon,
then cried to be lifted down. He is eating good and get's along fine
with the cats too. We had a friend stop in tonight and he barked at
him and came and hid under my feet. Made me feel kind of good that he
has figured out Mom and Dad already. He sort of made up with our
friend after a short while. It's so cute to watch them play. Run as fast as they can in circles around the house and every so often he stops or goes the opposite way and Allay goes crazy hunting for him, then off they go again. He doesn't take a treat from your hand yet, smells and licks it, but picks it us as soon as I lay it down. If I give them a dog biscuit they steel each others but don't fuss over them. He act's like he doesn't know about treats, but he's learning fast. He uses the puppy pads only sometimes, we were told he was mostly paper trained but he has not yet gone to the papers. And of course any dog with it's salt supervises the bathroom. At first Allay got upset but now they both come barging in and sometimes the cat comes too. LOL it get's crowded in there. Daddy has to stay up late tonight working so I am interested in seeing how he handles Allay and I going to bed. Will he go with us or stay with Daddy???? A Happy New Mom Kay imkoogie wrote: Hi!!!
