Hey Lynn, I loved you answer.. I am okay.   It is not that I was just angry , I was hurt. I have grown close to this person and I already have trust issues and then to feel like something had gone wrong just broke my heart. The flip side of anger is hurt. anyway, I talked to this person and all is well .. the paper's are being filed and this breeder and I are on track of keeping in touch.. Her best friend was killed in an auto accident  and she took off to Kentucky for a week. anyway I am not the only one to be upset with her during this week..

I am just glad it all worked out.     She is home and safe and keeping in touch with me again. I am fine and my papers are being sent for. Thanks for caring .. It means a lot.     Cindy     www.cindyrillis-chihuahua.net                                                                                                                                                                       & nbsp;

Wow. Cindy, Katie is right. Going down there out of pure anger is NOT
the thing to do. Separate your anger from your need to secure justice.
Those are two completely different things. Call up your local court
house, they have people there who will explain to you exactly what you
need to do to file in small claims court. No attorney will touch it,
unless it is a class action, because there simply is not enough money
involved. Unless you can find a young, pro-bono, inexperienced
attorney, you must learn how to do a small claims filing. You CAN
represent yourself.

Now, as for the anger of being cheated. You won't like this because
I'm going to sound like some flower child or something, but do not
associate this event with any other event where you have been cheated.
That isn't doing your head any good at all. It isn't helping your
feelings. It is only increasing your anger. When this is all over, you
need to enter into business deals, and this IS a business deal, with
much more research. Before you make a transaction, call up every local
agency you can to learn about the person's dealings. Call any group
the person claims to be a member of. I have to do this in my design
business - because I have been cheated in the past. I have had to go
the legal route and it has been painful. The entire answer, has been
for ME to research a potential business partner to ever extent that is
available to me. You simply must do that. No, it isn't fun. But it is
just a way of business. Buying or trading a dog is business first -
and fun later. I've been a designer since 1997 - and I have enough
experience under my belt with those sorts of people and corporations -
please think about it.

Cindy - please know I've been on the other end of the stick of being
cheated - please please please take the anger out and make it all
business. You simply need to find the pieces of the puzzle that allow
you to make this ending acceptable - legal means. You can do it.

Hang in there. And talk if you need to.

Hugs,
Lynn in Wi
