First, what an adorable rabbit!!!! We have a white one with black spots. I
have had rabbits all my life (one at a time) and they can bring such joy can't
they! :-)
Second, you can NOT blame your self for an innocent mistake. It isn't like
you purposefully supported such a business. Forgive yourself and learn to
research future pets better, and then get on with your life and enjoying this
adorable baby! :-)

This kind of falls under the topic of the HBO
documentary on the class B dealer. I'm, actually, kind of embarrassed to
tell this story, and it does get to be about dogs in the end.
It may teach someone a lesson I learned
though.
I KNOW to never get a dog from a pet store. I
did get a rabbit from PETCO a while back though. I had kind of a thought
in my mind that I shouldn't get a rabbit from a pet store.
She is such a lovely nice rabbit and she was already
spayed, and for the cost of her, I couldn't even have her spayed that
cheap! When you get a rabbit from PETCO, you get a little "birth
certificate application", that for a few dollars you can send to the place
where she was bred and get a cute certificate with her name on it, etc.
I got a cute certificate back with her name and color and breed and birth date
on it. On the top of the certificate was the breeding place "Marshall
Farms". Everything if ok so far..... THEN much later,while looking
for something on the internet I find a story on Marshall Farms. THEY ARE
A HORRIBLE CLASS B DEALER!!! =( By NOT thinking and buying my rabbit I
gave money to a class B dealer! I had pictures in my head of Marshall
Farms being a happy little bunny rabbit place. In literature PETCO gives
out, they are made to sound that way. My rabbit is very
beautiful. I imagine maybe her litter mates that may not of been lovely
were shipped off to the research labs. I wonder what my rabbit endured
during her spay surgery at this place. Marshall Farms is, actually,
mainly, a Class B dog dealer! I still feel bad to this day that I bought
my rabbit from PETCO and inadvertently gave money to Marshall
Farms.

now! (You can't say anything worse than my 18 year old daughter who
