I would show the picture to a few more experienced breeders - or better yet as pictures can be misleading (either way), go to a few shows and take her (although technically you are not supposed to bring a dog to a show that is not being shown). From the picture I would of said a Deer head. In the photo looks like her head is not very round and nose is longer. BUT do NOT take my word for it. I dont even own a Chi yet - have only been looking at them at shows and pictures....and in pictures yours looks like the ones breeders show me that are deer heads.
But take the word from experts, over me :-P If I were going to breed, I would get a dog as close to standard as I could find with a true apple head. I am not going to breed and personally like the look of deer types better. But it is not a correct head according to the AKC standard.
