All raw food right out of the fridge.  I buy beaf ribs and cut them up and give them to the dogs.  No cooking anything.  I also give raw chicken necks which is their favorite. I am lucky my butcher grinds beaf meat, bones, and a beaf organ meat into a nice cubes and I give them a smidgen of that with their chicken necks.  I say "Dinner Time" and boy are my babies dancing.

When you say RAW, are you referring to a brand of food or are you
referring to a 'raw food' diet such that nothing is cooked over a
certain temperature?

I make dog food and treats, and my boys are healthy and thriving.
Despite the Mini pin having insulin dependant diabetes. I think for
me, because I have the time, and it offers me peace of mind, I like to
make the food myself. I still feed with kibble, but only once a day.

I woould like to hear more about this RAW food

Not saying it is bad and maybe you were lucky but since I have been
breeding I realized how horrible that cheap stuff is.  How often do
Dogs eat corn in the wild? I was not taking any jabs at all but the
little guys are a bit more delicate then your Dobie would you not
agree?  I have been breeding for many years and was just offering my
support an knowledge of the breed.  I feed RAW but I did not tell you
to try that.  I just recommended a higher quality food.  Bil Jack (in
my book) is not that high in quality.  I have researched many brands,
called processing plants, and really did my homework (hense the reason
I feed RAW)
