It will probably take her a couple of weeks to get used to you... maybe even a little longer considering her former situation. When she does start to come around, try putting a leash on her, but just let her drag it around behind her to get used to the idea of it being hooked to her. You also said she's not potty trained yet. Make sure you don't scold her for any accidents she has for awhile. That will totally interfere with the trust issue. You can work on that a little later. If she continues to pick at her food, try mixing a little canned food with the dry kibble. Maybe that will stimulate her appetite.
