At that age, without prior training, the best advice is simply
PATIENCE. It is gonna be hard to break because it is habit. But it can be done.
First, make sure you thoroughly clean any marked areas with an enzyme designed
to rid of the smell. You may not smell it, but they do. Second, start the same
as you would if it was a new pup. Go back to basics. Confine him when he can not
be supervised. Put him on a feeding and walking schedule, as soon as you see him
trying to mark, immediately take him to the right place to potty. All the stuff
you would do if he was a new puppy, do it with him.....
