ITA with you.  It really should be outlawed.

Both ways can be genetically dangerous.  Both inbreeding and line breeding
are short cut ways to get the characteristics you want.  It is also one of
the very reasons so many pure breed dogs today have such terrible genetic
predispositions for certain diseases and conditions.  All in all, it should
NOT be acceptable but AKC will not take that stance because it is common.
