For anyone else looking for a car seat for little dogs: I looked long and hard for quite some time to find the perfect seat. I finally discovered the Travelin' Dog Pet Seat on the internet. It can now be found in Petco stores. I got my first one from Doctors Foster and Smith, and my second one from an ebay auction. Attached are the stock photos of the car seat in use. I would recommend using a different harness than the type used in the picture though. You want something that puts the pressure on the shoulder not the neck.
I really like it because it is sturdy, straps in with the seatbelt, boosts them up to 10 inches from the seat so they can see out the front and side of the car, AND I can put both my kids in it.
