Pebbles is horrible about getting under our feet.
Especially when we come down the stairs.
She hasn't tripped us yet thank goodness but I can see how it would
easily happen. We also have ferrets so we are used to watching where we
step. So happy you are ok and I bet that bell works great!

My chi is almost 5 months old. We just got him three weeks ago. He is
fast and silent. He and I had a little mishap in the kitchen where I
stepped on his foot, swerved to avoid him and he swerved to avoid me, he
tripped me, and I went to the floor, throwing myself into an awkward
position to avoid landing on him. That afternoon I went to the
Chiropractor to get my back and neck straightened after the fall,
followed by a visit to Wal Mart where I bought him a breakaway cat collar
with a bell on it.

It took him a couple of days to get used to the collar. We made a big
deal about it. Telling him how wonderful it was while fingering the
collar. After time he thought he was pretty hot stuff with his leopard
print collar with the jingle bell.

Now he is proud of himself, and both my husband (who is 83) and I (60 and
no spring chicken myself) know where Roul is, and can tell when he is
moving. Nobody has fallen, gotten stepped on, or was squished.

Also, when the bell is quiet for too long we know to go check for
mischief.

Barbara L, and Roul The Wonder Dog (we wonder if he knows if he is a dog)
