I would be looking for a new vet. I take all my pups
to be vet checked at 6 days old. While I am there I
have dew claws removed before the vascular and nervous
systems are in full force. It only costs $10 per pup.
To me that,s not worth the stress of removing them at
home. The only time I foolishly had them removed from
an adult dog it was a disaster. Poor baby was in pain
for days. I learned my lesson at her expense. hugs
