I agree with Denise... you don't want to reinforce unwanted behaviors. My Daisy whines too but after a few mins she'll shush up. When we first brought her home she would not stop it was soooo bad especially at night. We just let her be and she learned that being by herself is okay. How long have you had Poppy?
-Amanda- Ooh, yeah... maybe give Poppy some fun toys to mess with to keep him occupied. Maybe stuff a Kong with some kibble or whatever.
