Mare, I'f somebody pays for your red-headed temper, I'm waiting for somebody to pay for my Irish temper. Sounds like all good advice to me. I always wanted one of the super soaker water guns. I didn't have stuff like that when I was a kid so I never grew up. Jeannine
Jack&Mare <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Marsha Praying for you and your babies. That is so awful about your neighbor's labs . Makes you want to use a BB gun. One trick is you cam get a super soaker water gun and load that thing with some ammonia (diluted some) and let go. They will soon decide your place is off limits. I am sorry I sound so harsh and mean but I have no sympathy for a 'pack' like that when they gang up on another poor animal. You could do a Google and find out what kind of pills. One thing my vet gave my beagle when she had her c-section was Ultram...if you had any. It worked so great. And before that she was literally crying. Maybe it is time to switch vets. How very unprofessional for him not to visit with you about her and certainly not to give you something that said what they did. I sure hope her rabies is current. And somehow that doesn't surprise me about them holding a check. Sounds like they are in it for the money. That's sad but the fact remains money rules the world. Hee hee maybe someone should pray for my red headed temper. That all makes me sizzle. Just to let everyone know.....Dora, the IG with the broke leg, is doing great medical wise and does not seem to be in any pain, but is getting very upset about being confined, lol. We should know when we go back to the vet in about 2 more weeks, if the splint is gonna work or if she will need surgery still. Diddy is in a lot of pain and is not feeling well. I counted somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 stitches and two drain tubes. After getting her shaved, ect, vet did find bite wounds, so it has been a fight with either a dog or possibly the possum I found dead. The neighbor has three HUGE labs that keep coming into the yard and bothering her....most likely , they are the ones that have fought her. The worst places are all in the back/rear.... almost like she was trying to get away. She was sent home with some meds, but I don't know if they are pain meds or infection meds. Vet did not talk to me, only left short message with secretary. I do not like that!! I like to be able to talk to the vet, find out how things went, get all the details ect. I didn't even get a piece of paper with what they had done on it. I don't even know if they had to put her out or if she was awake!! Sighhhhh!!! Thankfully, this vet does allow payments. Actually, they make you write a check and then they hold onto the check so long as you make the payments, but if you don't make the payments, they cash the check. Payment amounts will be difficult, but not impossible. With the good Lord's help, we will manage. So, I thank everyone who has remembered Dora, Diddy and myself in thoughts and prayers. Keep it up...it does help! everyone is just so awesome! Thank you! Marsha
