See, with all my dogs, I tend to wait until 9 months to a year. I frequent many pet forums, and was absolutely appaled the other day! I was asking for their thoughts on micro chipping, as I have Patches, and 8 other dogs (2 big, and their 6 puppies). Well, they started on me about neutering...the daddy has been, but i obviously can't have the mother done until after nursing is over. Well, someone tells me that I can (and SHOULD) neuter these puppys, who both parents were around 45-55 lbs at 1 year, as soon as they reach 2 lbs. SMH. I just thought this was kind of funny, and wanted to share. Katie
