My chi Chance will hump any of the cats he sees. i don't know why he started doing this. I mean as soon as he catches site of a cat, male or female, he'll start right to it. Betty

My females mark, some lift a leg, most hump each other spayed or not spayed. It doesn't take away sex drive. If you spay them young enough it will lessen it but I spayed an older female and she was humping everything in site forever after that. My spayed maltese female got fat. I hate the whole process, maybe spaying young is the answer. Jeannine *Stefanie Brannan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>* wrote: Yes, neutering does NOT take away testosterone. And it does not take away the penis, LOL! They are still boys and will do boy behaviors. Marking is a behavior brought on by male hormones (and sometimes even female hormones) as well as canine instinct. The hormones and the canine instinct are still there even after neutering. Stef
