I use Frontline Plus. It goes between the shoulder blades. I just put some on
my Chi and have had no problems.

blades. I thought that might be too harsh for a Chi so I didn't get
him any. Last Summer he got fleas on just one walk outing. I don't
want that to deal with this year.
