I bought a 4 month old male poodle from "a friend" and had that happen and the
dog died violent death at 6 months. You can't go by what people say and they
can falsify reports. It is a sad day when you can't trust people - you can
just forget your losses and go by gut feeling. That's the best advice I can
give.
