Denise, you have gotten basically the same brush off I have...it really had
nothing to do with your doggy door or your pit.....it was the fact that you are
a breeder. I personally don't understand how some rescues can cry that they
desperately need foster homes, then turn around and say no just because someone
is a breeder. I COULD understand that they need to give more scrutiny to
breeders to make sure they are not puppy mills, but they shouldn't just flat
out turn us down without checking us out first.......

I understand that there are too many unwanted dogs in the world, but if no one
intentionally bred any dogs, we would loose the purity of our breeds and would
have nothing but mixes. Now I love a good "mutt" as much as anyone, but there
is something to be said for a full bred Chihuahua!!

I too am willing to foster.I have asked in the past to foster and was turned
down due to the fact I didnt have a big enough doggie door and that I have a
pit bull.Well I have since found my pit a home and have put in a bigger doggie
door. And I now have a bigger fenced in space to play in.Yes I am a breeder of
chihuahuas.If I fostered i would only foster small breeds.BTW I do have 5
kids. And they have all been raised around small breed dogs and they know how to
handle them.
