You can call the AKC and they can look it up by the dam's registration number
and let you know if the papers have ever been processed. BUT, I have NEVER
known of it to take a year. The longest I have ever seen it take is one time it
took me nearly 4 months because the breeder was a bit misleading and then once
the papers did finally get mailed, ect, it was the year we had the blizzard and
mail was slow allover the country....I think it was like 2000 or 2001? But
there is no excuse for a year.......

get them if you don't have them from the breeder but the breeder said they sent

Continental Kennel Club, although if the dog was from/in Canada it
could be Canadian Kennel Club. I also think I have seen Chihuahua Kennel Club.
I am just not sure how to register the babies, since both parents are
registered to different associations????
I'm Canadian but I live in Frederick MD..have been in the US for 4
