Wow, is it a myth that you can't breed a larger male to a smaller female? or
just a much smaller female?
My female is 10 1/2 lbs and the male is 8 lbs. I wonder how many she will
have when she does have them. Her mother had 3 in her first and his mother had
at least 5 I think.
  Very cute!

Thanks to you all for your best wishes on Trinity’s return and her
puppies. Yes, she had seven of the little devils.  They turned 9 weeks
yesterday and we have found loving homes for all but 2 of them. We still have
one little boy and one little girl left. Trinity weighs about 7 pounds and
proud papa, Jay-Jay is about 9 pounds.

Hi all, I have been trying to read all theposts and keep up with you guys and
your babies.
This morning I had a really bad scare. Myhusband put the trash out around 5:30
am and did not shut the garage door. Iwent to get a new trash bag at around
9:40, I realized that the outside doorhad been open for a while.  I thought
for sure that it was our little boy,Jay-J that would be missing.  But it
didn’t take long to realizethat it was Trinity who was on the run.
She NEVER strays, and yet she wasgone. Â She did not have her harness on
because she is still nursing herseven puppies.  I was a nervous wreck. My
husband drove around theneighborhood and I called our dog officer, who called
me right back to say thatsome one on a nearby street had seen Trinity and
because she didn’t thinkthat she looked like a dog to be wandering
around took her in. This wonderfulwoman took Trinity into her home and called
the dog officer to report her as a possiblelost/loose dog. I think that I am
typing in run on sentances, but that is howhard my heart is beating. I
am so happy that my town has a great dog officerthat put me in touch with the
woman that took Trinity right away.
This leads to my next question, I havethought about volunteering to assist our
town dog officer. Anyone else here dothat type of work and what could I expect.
