I would definitely keep them separated when you can not supervise or when you 
are asleep and not aware....until you know how they will interact. You do not 
want to chance an all out fight where one of them ends up hurt because you 
weren't there to stop it, so yea, unless you are around, until you know they 
will be ok together, they should be separated.

  Thanks Marsha. I know that's what's going on, it's just nice to have 
  someone who's got experience with more than one Chi to confirm it for 
  me. I did manage to get some "cuddle time" with Snickers (the older 
  one) while the younger one is curled up asleep. I think I'm just 
  afraid one of them will hurt the other and me being here alone makes 
  that unbearable, hence the overly emotional state. I am going to try 
  crating the new fella (currently "Little Man", but I think that is 
  going to be changing once I get a better idea of his personality) at 
  night and while I am at work, and leaving Snicks to sleep with me and 
  run the house like he normally does during the day to see if that helps 
  him with the adjustment.
