My 8 year old female was bottle raised from day one. Momma dog wouldnt
have anything to do with the pups. Now she nursed on my arm. Does the
pushing with her feet and the whole thing. She started doing it shortly
after she came home at 6 weeks.
My Daughters AmStaf does the same thing with her blankets in her crate.
She has one favorite she drags around with her to suck on. She also was
bottle raised.
I think it may be because they didnt get to suck enough while nursing
from the bottle. Being weaned too early probably could cause it too.
I never tried to stop Bridgette so cant help you there*G*
