Hi,

I have an 8 month old short-haired chihuahua. She's been such a
lovable and fun puppy to watch grow.

Recently, however, her behavior has changed. She used to hang out in
the living room & play with her toys, try to jump on the couch (which
I was attempting to train her not to do) & sleep in her bed that was
out in the living room as well.

Now, she has no desire to be out in the living room. The only time
she plays is if you play with her. She would rather be in her kennel
in the bedroom then in the bed she used to lay in out in the living
room. If I close the door to the bedroom off, she will just lay in
the hallway or on the bathroom rug.

I feel as if she is being "anti-social" -- Is there a reason why she
would suddenly change like this? It only began this week after we
returned back from Thanksgiving Vacation (she came along too, so it's
not as if we left her behind & alone). I have an older chi who is 10
years old as well and she stays out in her bed and loves to be around
us...

Why would this puppy be acting like this? When I go to find
her ...she is usually by herself, not getting into trouble, &
shivering.

Thanks for your thoughts.
