When I got Sox I was REAL lucky! My moms friends live in Georgia...and their dog had 3 puppies...she told my mom she could have one for free...My mom asked her if I would be able to buy one from them...and she said "No"...so my mom asked her why...and she said that I could have one for free too. I couldn't thank them enough! He is such a good dog! She also said that she wanted my mom to have the little tan one...he looks like the Taco Bell dog...and I could have the other one...which made me even happier...lol...I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him! Which was at 4 in the morning! It just so happened that my daughter and her family were going to Georgia on vacation and they just went a little out of their way to get the puppies.So the morning that they got home...my husband and son went to their house to pick them up...at about 3 in the morning...we couldn't wait for a decent hour HaHa We bought the female ...Cricket...my cousin told me her neighbor had puppies so we went to see her when she was 9 days old. She wasn't really what I wanted...but all I could afford at the time...she's kind of tall...and has TINY little bones...she's pretty jumpy and gets scared easy...she looks like a little deer.She was in a bad situation...so it was kind of a rescue ...I TRY not to do that...but sometimes animals just need out of a bad situation...so if I can help...I do. I also volunteer for a local humane society...but have rescued animals on my own since I was a kid...my parents never knew what I might bring home! Oh...well...nothing has changed...haha...my husband never knows what I might bring home either! When I signed up to volunteer for the humane society...12 years ago...I told him I WOULD NOT foster any animals...well...I came home with 2 German shepherd /collie mix puppies...haha I couldn't help myself. It's good to hear that the puppies sell well. I had a definite idea of what I wanted in a Chihuahua and I looked for a long time before I found Cesar. And except for growing to be larger than I expected, he is just what I wanted.
