Wow Gloria, you helped a lot! I didn't get into my naming efforts before, but
I fell in love with the name Sancho, but it carries such a negative connotation
with it (which I'm sure you know of, if not, I'll explain) I have never read
the book Don Quixote, but it is one that I keep looking for (I buy all my books
at the used book store) So, now I can just name him Sancho Panza and call him
Sancho and he can be named after the literary character. It just seems
perfect...I read up on the book and the character online and he's short and fat
and he's not only Don's friend but his assistant and apprentice, and it's seems
perfect. Denise

In the story of Don Quixote, his companion is a short chubby man named "Sancho
Pansa"
"pansa" is a slang word for "belly", so "Panson" (pa-an-son) means fatty. In
Spanish speaking families, baby boys are often called "Papi" (Pa pee) (sort of
like little man).
