I was always told that stress, change in diet even the water they drink can
cause them to throw up or have loose stools. I hope that its nothing and that
the pup gets better.

watching the sugar level? I'm assuming that the vet has checked for parasites,

Subject: [Chihuahuas] puppy throwing up

my daughter bought a puppy from a nice lady with a few Chi's and she
has had him for a week and he has thrown up twice and had to be taken
to the vets as he was dehydrating. We have no idea why as he is very
heathy and active. IF he continues, the vet said it could cost as much
as $2000 to find the problem and solve it. He is 12 weeks old and
weighs 2 lbs. She hates to do it but we may have to return him if we
have anymore problems, but she has a $1000 in him and she can't afford
anymore.
Thanks, Judy
