Hi Terri,
I had the same problem with one of my rescues - SugarPlum - except she
also had chronic diahrea and occasional seizures. All my vet would do
was load her up on chemicals (meds). I determined that it was a food
allergy and took her off all wheat, corn, soy, artificial ingredients,
food colorings, etc and POOF! No more problems!
The food I found for her is Life's Abundance. I am so happy with it
that I became a distributor for them. I've made it my crusade to
spread the word because it's made such a difference in my babies (all
7 of them!)
My website is www.mybestfriendsbo wl.com if you'd like to learn more
about it.
Don't kick yourself about getting puppy mill puppies at a pet shop -
you just didn't know. But now you can spread the word - only buy from
a reputable breeder or even better - adopt a rescue. There are so
many adorable babies out there that need our love. (Okay - I'm off my
soapbox now!)
Best wishes to you and your babies.
Cheryl*
